what to do when u cant sleep?

i dont know what to do when i cant sleep. i usually end watching tv.

honestly I count sheep or what ever could be stars or fish but it makes my brain focus on something instead of spinning nobs I believe the person that came up with it was also o add lol

I get up and read usually. It helps most of the time.

Sometimes when I can't sleep I get on my laptop and play games until I get tired and my eyes get blurry. Other times I have warm milk and honey to calm me.

i dont know what to do when i cant sleep. i usually end watching tv.

I am not a television person, so when I am not able to sleep I read,study, or just lay there in bed thinking about pleasant memories of hearing my father play guitar and sing, if all else fails I get up and play free cell on my computer!

I heard this about 5 years ago.  Relax your tongue (let it go limp), and keep your mind blank...off to sleep you go.  When we are worried about the days happenings or work stress, we tend to "live" it over in our heads when everything is quiet and we are left with nothing but our thoughts, which is usually in bed.  We also tend to tighten our jaws/teeth when thinking of something stressful.

This method works.

I try a cup of herbal tea, watch something boring on TV and if that fails then I get up and log back online and make some money.

I usually grab a book to read.  Then I'll usually get into the book and end up reading for hours.

I love to watch tv and talk to my cat.  After about 30 minutes, it put both of us asleep.

I just get up and start my day. If I get too tired during the day I take a quick nap. As it is, I probably only average between 5 - 6 hours sleep anyway.
