Oh I know, I am also so tired of the short days and long nights.  Although it hasn't been a bad winter, I am so tired of it.

:sad1: I am so ready for the ice to disappear here, too! Here in Alabama; we don't get alot of snow and ice. It really shows up in the people who have to drive in this mess! Heck! alot of them have problems driving on dry surfaces,HA!HA! It effects all areas of living here. Get snow and ice and low and behold there goes the power! I am sooooo ready for some warmer weather. I'm ready for "OLE ARTHUR" to go vist some-one else for a while. I hope
               YA"LL HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK_END!!!!!!  :peace:

I feel for you. We had a major ice storm in 08 that left us trapped with no electric, phone, even cell towers were down, so you couldn't call for help. Electric was out for almost 2 weeks. Ice is so much worse than snow.

I used to live in Georgia, and back in the 70s we had a massive ice storm that covered half the state.  It was a nightmare.  I'm glad to be back in Florida, but it's been 20 degrees lower than normal.  Ugh!
