Do you print or copy off recipes from the internet?
« on: January 21, 2011, 09:52:06 am »
It seems like I am printing off recipes almost every day.  I have a huge stack of them.  But, do I cook something different every night?  Nope.  Everything looks so good when it is pictured.  I have been a recipe clipper for years and years.  I used to make all kinds of different things for dinner.  My family had to comment on the meal - was this a keeper or not. I wanted honest answers.  Most of the time they were keepers.  I try not to clip recipes that may have a strange ingredient as I would buy it and then not use it again.

I look at the recipes in the paid to click section of Fusioncash every day and have used several of them. When I do want to cook something, I almost always hit the Internet for new ideas and improvise from there.

I print a recipe if I am going to make it right then ... if not I cut and paste to the notebook program which I have made a cookbook.  My printer ink costs a small fortune and even though it is a new printer it only works when IT wants to.  I get most of my ideas and recipes online.  I feel like all I ever do is look at food.

I've copied some recipes from the internet but decided to substitute the ingredients for something else and the recipe came out just as good or even better.

I do from time to time.  I don't cook a lot, so I don't have any recipe books.

Yes I do.  I have downloaded and tried every recipe I have down loaded off the internet.  I am really trying to use the Gluten Free stuff now.  I find that they are really good.

I print recipes off the internet all the time, and actually use the recipes to help me create great meals. There have been times when I was looking for a particular recipe I found myself scanning various websites in search of the perfect recipe. I love BBC America, epicurious and Sparkpeople sites, they have a wealth of great recipes that I print all the time. Of course you can't forget FC in the paid to click section all the great recipes there are worthy of being printed and kept for future use.

It used to be that every time I got an idea to make something, I would look in the Joy of Cooking for the recipe. But now, I always go to the internet!
