After reading the Bible for a long year,I know that all the people that never had the chance to know God they will go straight to hell and be punish.

What about Acts 24:15?

Then there are people like this woman.  Words cannot express.  Give me an altruistic atheist instead of a hate-filled believer.  Tell me which of the two is more deserving of a place in "heaven."

You really have to wonder if a "believer" is so hate-filled, are they really deep down a genuine believer in the Lord?  It makes you wonder just who the "believer" believes in and follows.

The video is taken down, but I've seen it. Christians like that are nuts and scary.

And Voltaire says it best. ;)

If they've been truly good, loving, honorable, trustworthy people, they have been living in the sunlight of the spirit even though they never realized it. I'm sure such people will get a kinder reception than people who believe in God but beat their wives and children.

I believe it is a greater responsibility to us who have knowledge than to those who do not about the things of God and salvation.
But even we do not know the things of God and what salvation truly is and the plan he has for souls.

I believe He is merciful.  But I also believe he is Holy.  Unless your are covered and redeemed in the belief of Christ and his redemption...then how could you even be a doormat in the presence of the Almightys front gates? How could your blemished soul endure it?
Jesus covers us for this.  This is why its important to spread the news of Christ to the four corners.  Everyone must have the chance and opportunity to reject or embrace.

It's really Dishonest to see people ignore scripture, everyone here seems to ignore Acts 24:15 which reads 15 and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

To be resurrected you must die first PERIOD I don't care what your definition of death is. As for Revelation 20:15 even if it was literal and that's a big if  it happens AFTER THE RESURRECTION AND THE 1,000 YEAR REIGN and not before. Also Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed with fire and sulfur but no one alive will claim it's burning today.  :P

Then this is a pointless reasoning unless you're appealing to emotion here.

Nope.

I'd say even if be a bit more credible if they knew it's exact location. But they don't even know if it ever existed or do they know of a proper history of the region. Even the names, when translated from hebrew, have multiple meanings including "scorched" and "ruined heap" which one could conclude that it's just some old allegory (Messengers from god shooting lasers and blinding people! A woman turns to salt! Fire and brimstone raining!). And the entire region has been a hot spot for well over 10,000 years.

I think were seeing eye to eye for once. The scientific reasoning here will probably be flaming meteors destroyed the place and they was an unknown chemical reaction on the Woman thus turning here into salt. Some people reject scientific reasoning when it comes to miracles and judgments heck my religion disagrees with this. But we must remember Atheists and Theists alike that God is power personified and it's clear that the laws are in the science.

It is pointless. How can you possibly be arrogant enough to "reason"  or "feel" what Gods ultimate plan is?
What you are touching on is something called faith.  Faith cannot be reasoned with and it is not a feeling.

Because people are trying to reason it out here. There's nothing wrong with that if it points to problems and it makes them think.

I don't understand how this could even be a realistic situation. It's like saying Odysseus of greek mythology couldnt find his way home because the God of Neptune was causing tsunamis which altered his course. Tsunamis were a big deal back in the days of those oceans due to the tilt of the earth and the tectonic plates around that region, so it's obvious Neptune was using science to exact his revenge. The whole premesis is bonkers.

Yes yes our reasoning is accurate, but humans use of science is nowhere near the level of say turning water into wine.

I know you believe that be true, but I just dismiss it as a parable just as I do the S+G story. Besides, that wine must've been cheap and gross if he did it on the spot. No time to ferment! lol

If I'm not mistaken, the reason the US fought the Revolutionary War was due to differences in thought.  When the US seceded, we formed a Constitution and Bill of Rights, including freedom of religion.  I believe we should all be tolerant of others beliefs and just try and treat each other right.

To answer the initial question, I believe people will continue on their eternal soul journey when they "die"... although I believe death is just a transition to another place.  If a person doesn't accept God, I don't think they will be persecuted, I just think it will take them longer to reach the light.
