I have been self employed and
had business'es on and offline
for many years.

My advice to anyone that
has a desire to have a business
should go for it.

Do not let fear of any kind
stop you from your desire.

Desire being the key word.
If you have a burning desire
to have a business then you
will have a business period.

Here is something that may
help you to make the decision.

Most people worry about the
how to's before they make a
decision to.

Be true to your heart. If you
desire a business of some kind
make the decision that YES I
will have that business.

You will find that what you need
to make this business happen
will start to appear and you will
become more creative once you
have begin.

A friend and I are considering finding something to so from home.  We both bake and cook really well.  I also have an embroidery machine.  But sadly with me working two jobs it is hard to get started.

never thought of seems scary i love kids and have always wanted to be a teacher but have lately thought to open up my own daycare in my home but i mean i hear thats hard and not good money well see but i have thought about that but it would not be for awhile if i considered it

       I have tried sometimes. It is very hard to make a decision. It has to be "a service or product that people really need" and are willing to buy.

Great subject and a wonderful venue for it.  Loved the post of the person who was baking and giving cooking demos at home - so smart.  Yes, I am currently brainstorming business, location, etc.   It is a fun process to look at education, experience, talents, and figure out exactly what you really LOVE doing and where you want to be to do it.  Good luck to everyone engaged in this process!
