Is it safe to put your credit card info in the internet?

i think its totally safe to put your birthdate and credit card info. The birthdate is probaly just for classificaiton purposes. As far a the credit card i will only put my info in if i am truly intrested in the product. its like shopping online at any other site. But to be safe make sure you have the spy-ware software on your computer. it prevents others from being able to see your info online...

I don't have a credit card, but I do use my debit card a lot for online purchases. I've been scammed a few times, but not because someone got my number, but because the companies themselves were not trustworthy and charged me extra, or didn't send me a refund.

It's no more dangerous than scanning your card at the pump or grocery store or restaurant.

I sometimes wonder if that information is really needed, but the sites do keep track of who is answering and if you qualify for the survey.  I have never had to give a credit card number for a survey, but you take your chances with what information you give them.
