Favorite cold weather food

  Hello to everyone! Since the weather here is cold yet I was just wondering what everybody's favorite cold weather food is? I woud have to say that my favorite is a good homemade stew with freshly baked bread I am not a person that likes the canned stews or soups the homemade just tastes a lot better in my opinion!

Definately soup and grilled cheese sandwiches! I also like warm drinks (hot chocolate, coffee, cider, etc.)

i'm not a big soup person, but i like to make
my own chicken noodle soup with the big
egg noodles and cooked, diced chicken.
its pretty yummy with some cheesy garlic
biscuits...

i don't like canned soups either. i love making a hearty vegetable stew or even albondigas. but if i don't have the time or ingredients on hand then even a quick rice/pasta soup with a simple tomato broth goes great with fried cheese taquitos or quesadillas

chicken and dumplings or chicken pot pies are also great for rainy days. pot pie twice as much because it requires turning on the oven which will also warm up the house

My favorite cold weather food is homemade chilli.  I like it with schredded cheddar cheese on top!

Homemade Bread and Homemade pizza! The wife bakes all day when it gets cold but that is just on the weekends!

Chicken and noodles with homemade biscuits. I love those thick Kluski (?) noodles. Lots of carrots.

I love to make homemade beef stew, and chili.   I love to eat my beef stew and chili with hot sauce.  I only eat hot sauce in the winter.  Hot sauce is good for you body.

I love pinto bean soup whether it's cold or not but especially when it's cold.  I think it's probably a good thing because if gas prices keep going up, we may have to live on peanut butter and beans    I like white beans and ham also but not as much as pinto beans

i live in arizona now so cold weather food doesn't always sound good
