Finding a job

I am out there looking for a job and applying to lots of places. So far no luck.

Anyone else in the same boat?

make sure you have a strong application and that you meet the qualifications of the job as advertised.
Follow-up after you apply, make a POSITIVE impression from the very first line of any communication you have with a potential employer.

Really seek out work that you are passionate about -- it will show in your resume, application and interview.

craigslist will work wonders if you live in a metropolitan kinda of area.

I got a full time job thru a staffing agency working for someone else.  That makes me a "contract" employee.  Hopefully the contract does not expire before getting hired  permanent.  I need the money!  Also, I'm looking to make part-time work.

Try Monster.com they have tons of jobs in all areas. They will also help you build a resume if you don't have one.  Also many counties have job listings and provide resume, application, and interview help. Good luck!  :cat:
