your tattoo

            There's a lot of people who love tattoos. Some who just have one, two, or even cover up their whole arms or legs. There's some that have their whole body covered in tattoo. But there's also some who just hate tattoos because they say they ruin your skin, or they think they look ugly....As for me, I think tattoos are an art.

    So what about you?....If you have a tattoo, what is it and if you don't, what would you get a tattoo of? Would it mean anything to you?

I have one high on my right shoulder (so I can cover it up at the office)!  It is a vine twined into the shape of a pentacle with oak leaves growing out of it.....my husband is that tattoo freak in the family....he has 4, one of which is a picture of my face with my hair blending into celtic knotwork on his inner forearm.  It's pretty cool and really does look like me - about 10 years ago anyway! LOL

On my right delt, I have the Eye of Sauron from "The Lord of the Rings."  I'm a Tolkien nut 

On the back of my left trap I've got a flaming eye.  It's from Tool's "Lateralus" album and was designed by artist Alex Grey.  I'm a big Tool fan, Grey's artwork is really cool looking, and it fits in with the other eye tat.

Hmm... I don't think I would ever get a tattoo. When I get older, my skin will get wrinkly, distorting the tattoo, so I'd rather not get one.

I dont have one but have often thought about a small butterfly on my shoulder. Is it worth the pain ?

I finally got a tattoo when I was 38. It is of a colorful butterfly just above my right breast. I just wanted to get something for me. I didn't want to get something everyone could see. But now, 6 years later at the age age of 44, I want another one real bad. And I want it to be seen. I'm thinking of a rose intertwined with vines and my husbands name. LOL!!! One tattoo and I have turned into a bad girl.

I have a musical note on my ankle I got  when I was 16. I don't like it now , really. The only other one I've ever considered was my son's face. I'm scared they would screw it up though and it won't look like him.

I have 6 tattoos. Most of them I got when I was 18 & 19 years old (I'm 32 now). I did get a small one last year, it is my astrological sign, on my neck.

I have a black widow on my shoulder blade with lava under it. I got it when I was 18 and young and stupid haha the meaning behind it is hell comes with the spider.
