Missing my grandson

I have come to the conclusion that since my grandson's Dad ended up with full custody, I am more than certain that he will never let the boy see me again.  Even though he told me that wouldn't happen.  Through the years I have learned to trust my instincts when it comes to him and his word.  What would you do? I have been thinking about  taking him to court for visitation rights. 
My grandson is just 3 yrs old.  He lived with me for almost 2 yrs.  I took care of him while his mom and dad tried to work and go to school.  Now they have decided that the dad is the best place for him.  Long sorted story.  But now I seem to be the one that is left out. My grandson, I know misses me.  I haven't been able to talk with him or see him for about a month.  I know that's still soon to be jumping to conclusions.  But the past 2 times that he was supposed to visit me, something has come up and no grandson.  Well sorry about the bummer topic.  Anyone been in this situation?
