Continue to hope.  Put hope in everything you do, everything you think, everything you are.  Hope is the key.  Do not be troubled or weighed down by the bad things that seems to envelope you and this current culture.  Rather, gaze toward the light and know that it is okay, and will be as long as you continue to live everyday with Jesus, for He is the One and only Hope of the world.

I have suffered from depression in the past.  Have you discussed it with your doctor?  Also, I do believe that prayer and faith can give you an inner peace.

Not since I got off the drugs ( legal and illegal ) 33 years ago, and cleaned the junk out of my body and my mind. MY ADVICE---Get the hell away from dammed doctors who are the legalized drug pushers and murderers.

I formerly used legalized drugs for my depression. It was not something I could control and it was great to have a bit of a boost to feeling better...

My husband suffers from depression pretty bad.  He has been disabled due to back problems for over 10 years.  Praise the Lord for his little "happy pill" that makes us all feel better.
Have a wonderful day!

Everyday it is a struggle, but I am not on the drugs anymore.   I was taken the drugs, but It was not helping me .  I was sleeping all the time.  If you know why you are depressed try to fix your own problems.  I was depressed because I was having lower back pain and fibromyalgia.  So what I am doing now is to treat the pain first and then depression.
My doctors wanted to deal the depression first with several drugs.  Educated yourself about your problems.

I did suffer from depression when I was a teenager. I was going through a lot at such a young age. Most things that people wouldn't want to go through. What worked for me was focusing on moving forward. I always confided in my art teacher in high school and she was always instructed me not to dwell on any issue. If it was out of my hands then I shouldn't worry about it. There was nothing I could do to change anything about the past. She always said look to a brighter tomorrow. Way before these words came out in Kung Fu Panda, I went by this philosophy "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present." That's what has helped me get through my daily life. Also my faith in God. I know some people don't believe in him but I do. If everyone followed this, then stress wouldn't be an issue.

I am bipolar type 2 with obsessive/compulsive disorder. While some days are a little harder than others I find making myself get up out of bed and getting on with my daily schedule is what keeps me going. The hardest things for me to deal with is not being able to drive and not having enough money to do fun things. People tell me I should work but I can't handle the stress of a regular job, that is why I do these survey sites to make a little spending money.

Yep, I have for about 15 years.  I almost died in the hospital from zoloft a few months ago and now considering suing Pfizer for 20 thousand or so.  I am disabled also, so it's kind of confusing knowing who's fault it was.  The doctor probably shouldn't have given me that medicine.  They will have to look into everything.  I just want my hospital bill paid.  I have no money.  Disability only pays me to the dime of what I need to survive and the full hospital bills aren't being covered by it (nor is the 3 months of mental torture getting off the stuff).

He's right, it's safer to buy illegal drugs these days than prescription ones.  I never ended up in the hospital off weed, but Zoloft almost killed me and they almost had to amputate my hand because of it.
