I never knew Walmart had cakes. From the other two options, I prefer publix cakes.

Publix cakes hands down.
The selection is great and the service in the bakery has always been friendly and helpful.
They have done several cakes for friends at work, and without fail everyone has really enjoyed them.

I've tried a few bake products from wal-mart and would definitely recommend any and everyone avoiding the bake good section...absolutely terrible.

I do not care for wal-mart cakes although, they are convenient to buying because of the 24 hour store. I prefer Caro's cakes taste wise but however, that isn't a international business. I believe it is only local.

Walmart's cakes are good but I prefer homemade cakes. I made my own wedding cake and it was great.

Haven't heard of Publix before. I like store-bought cakes and home-made cakes. Just depends on the occasion and available funds/time as to whether or not I'll make one or purchase one. Only thing for me is, it HAS to be buttercreme icing. The whipped crap usually makes me sick, so I try not to eat it.

Publix has the best cakes
Their Wedding cakes are highly recommended.

Let me guess, you live somewhere in florida. The only place I know where a Publix supermarket exists.

I've seen Publix supermarkets in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio as well.

As for the OP topic:  Publix does have awesome cakes!  I dislike chocolate cake for the most part, but I had a slice of chocolate cake that was bought from Publix and it was simply divine!

None of the above...I would say that Carvel's ice cream cakes are the absolute best who can say no to those oreo crunchies.

If we have to buy it usually comes from Wal-Mart.My daughter usually buys the girls one for their birthday.I prefer to make my own.And at the party mine is the one that's ate all gone. The store bought cake may have only 1 or 2 slices gone, and that's usually my granddaughter eating the icing.Homemade is so much better.

They are also in Georgia. I still prefer to make my own. I even made my own wedding cake. :)

I have never heard of Publix.  But then again I have never bought a cake at Walmart.
