Do you think that the government should shut down?

No I don't.  Just for a couple of days, all the clinics would be close.  No hospital for people to go to, this will effect all things on the bases.  This is a very big expense for all americans.  A shutdown in a wartime.  Unheard of.

Government shut down will greatly effect the price of your food...  Farmers dont make squat when it comes to harvesting so they do depend on the gov for help in getting your food to the markets...   So my hopes are that the farmers aid does not get struck down in the process.... so many aspects of the shut down would be devastating to everyone

No, the government won't shut down but it should fire most of the members!
Have a wonderful day!

The very idea of a shut down makes me angry.  Congress would still be getting paid, but they'd be keeping hundreds of thousands of people out of work and without a paycheck, all over political shenanigans.  Republicans and Democrats are just as bad; neither side is for the people anymore, only for big business and themselves.

Toss out all the lobbyists and big money and get some new senators and congressmen and we might have a chance for a fair government.  All the tradeoffs for votes make lots of pork.

No the government should not shut down, but they should take a cut in pay.
