:wave:I am in the midwest: we haven't had a really good storm for a couple years now.  I have been waiting for a good one.  They always start out great, but by the time they hit my area they seem to loose momentum.  Still I sit outside and watch the show.  Love thunderstorms.

We   had thunder rumbling through the other night.  To me, that meant that spring was officially here.  What is odd is to hear thunder in the middle of winter in Minnesota.  That has happened a few times.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some thunderstorms. I love loud booming thunder and the sound of rain on the roof! I dunno, maybe I have some subconscious memory of something positive related to thunderstorms. But where I live they mostly happen in the middle of the night and I don't really get to enjoy them. And any storms that happen in the daytime only last a few mins before they come and go.

But that is probably a good thing I guess since one good clap of thunder seems to knock out power lines around here lol.

I do. I wish we had gotten some the other night--we were supposed to in Iowa with th insanely hot weather, but we didn't. I love laying in bed and listening to it on the roof. I'm sure I'll get plenty of opportunities soon though

I don't know why so many people love thunderstorms.  I guess they're cool to look at but not so fun to drive in or when they destroy your house!

Only if I can sleep, I love the sound of rain coming down on the roof.

I like thunderstorms but here in the desert it usually means that there is a flash flood on the way.   :confused1:

I love them if I don't have to be out in them. We rarely get much rain or thunder and lightning here in S. Calif though.
