is anybody else trying to lose weight? does anybody have any tips? other then eating healthy..because i have been eating healthy.

exercise has to be part of the plan.
additionally you say "i'm eating healthy" but do you do a food log, have you had it reviewed?
do you know how much food your body needs, etc?

Sometimes you don't lose weight when you don't eat enough food

I am trying to lose weight and I'm doing slimfast itis so good it tastes like a milkshake and you'll lose 10lbs. your first week and 2 lbs. a week after that!

My sister has lost a lot of weight by just cutting out the sugar and the flour. Its the Carb diet.  Go on line to see what you can eat.  You can have natural sugar but not Kane sugar.  She also cut out all of the sodas.

@asia,

When I was on Slim Fast years ago I would add some banana and strawberry and put it in the blender along with ice cubes.  It was so good. I had company and my friend wanted one.  To this day she still makes the slim fast with the fruit in there.

I have managed to lose 18 lbs so far and the only thing I am doing differently is cooking more with real food no processed prepackaged stuff no cookies in a bag or box I do make them but with good things in them I also make brownies with spinach in them they are yummy and nothing but chocolate tasting.
The weather is becoming nicer and nicer so I will be adding walking to my routine My sister has lost over 40 lbs doing this same routine A bonus is I seem to be wasting a lot less food so I guess I am saving money toooo nice bonus. :thumbsup:

how do you make spinach brownies? they sound good.   I think I will try the food dairy to see if that will help.

I have been trying to lose weight for as long as I can remember and I am so tried.  I guess I jut give up.  Can't eat no carbs, no sweets, no sodas, etc.  like is so short, but I have not given up.  I just wish it was an easier way.

Finding time to exercise is the culprit for me. I feel I get plenty of exercise in my daily activities, but guess not. There was a time when I was working in the corporate world, I got up really early and jogged before work. Those days were the best as I felt great all day. Maybe going back to that would be good. Just have to discipline myself. I've lost quite a bit of weight, but need to "tone up".

   I am trying too. Buy the Alli weight loss starting kit. Read all the booklets. You do not need to do the pills if you do not want to. The pills work better than other programs. People say is the only weight loss program approved by the FDA. Here are some additional tips that really work: Drink plenty of water, sleep well each day, avoid sodas- go for the vitamins and minerals waters, no breads, pies, cakes, pasta or rice, no deep-fried foods, it is spring and summer time- do some walking, exercise at home- do some old fashion calisthenics and swim if you can.

@sdenimandlace1 the recipe is in the book Deceptively delicious by Jessica Seinfeld or you could go on line I am sure and find it.  You have to puree carrots and the spinach forgot they had carrots in them great way to get some veggies into picky eaters like my 3 grandsons.  Try it and let me know what you think. :thumbsup:

remember to burn off what you eat so eating health goes so far you need exercise to burn off those stubborn calories

please check with a medical professional before taking any over the counter weight loss pills.
 many of these can cause additional healthy problems.
I'm pretty certain that Alli reacted with some of my brothers medications and caused him to die

I find it if you fast soda or sugary drinks for a week, you'll lose a couple pounds. This works better on guys however.
