Any Big plans for Easter?
« on: April 17, 2011, 04:49:30 pm »
My mother-in-law will be in town.  I am going to see if she will hang out with the kids while clean out the dressers and get work done.

Nothing special, just dinner with my parents, brother, and girlfriend.  Nice and low-key.

Nothing wrong with a low key day.  Those are nice every so often.  Enjoy.

we'll open easter baskets, eat breakfast and then get ready to head out to my aunts house for her BBQ/egghunt/ massive month of april bday party (all 3 of her kids, her husband and her own bdays are all in april) it always a lot of fun for my kids to get to play with their cousins and for me to be able to visit with my family. of course, all of this depends on how we are all feeling after our saturday plans of going whale watching

Nope. There are no special plans that I know of; it will just be another day that I will enjoy.

My husband and I will be going to visit our grandchildren and bring them something from the Easter bunny.  We are also are getting something for the children of our neighbors that on each side of our home and put it on their front steps anonymously.

I have to work until five, which isnt too bad considering my daughter has a soccer game, on the Saturday before but we have gotten a house sitter in case we decide to go up to Vail and ski or to a great resort. Personally I would prefer to do brunch in town and share Easter baskets with the kids, do a brunch and relax with a movie.  To me it is all about the family.  Church would be a nice option as well.

We're having dinner on Saturday and church on Sunday. I love to cook so I'm making a ham, oatmeal rolls, cream puffs and rum raisin pie.

For us, we wake up and we'll load the kids up in the car to go to church while I hide eggs throughout the house and also their Easter egg baskets. When we all get home the kids have a fun time going around collecting eggs and their basket. We always have a big dinner too! A lot of work but its rewarding to see the smiles on everyones face.
