Where do you shop for your grocery and do you use coupon?!

I had a coupon for a free bottle of a type of aspirin that I had printed off.  The clerk I went to did not know me and called over a couple of manager types.  One of them knew me and knew I had shopped at their store for years and would never try to pass a fake coupon.  Anyway, it turns out that the coupon had some lines on the back of it.  That told them I had not photocopied it and it was ligit.  I learned something new.

For those that double their coupons can you explain it to me. Say the store doubles up to a dollar. If you have a 75 cent coupon do you get 75 cents more or do you get 25 cents to make it a dollar? Thanks for the help!

i shop at my local grocery store coupons help alot especially when you know how to use them with store, manufacator coupons and sales at the store together

Just wondering where do everyone get their grocery.
As for me, I shop at walmart, price chopper, aldi, tops, whichever has better deal.
Recently, I also start using coupon and have noticed I can actually save some money!!! 

Unfortunatly, my area doesn't have much to choose from and the one grocery store that I am faithful to doesn't accept coupons printed from the net.  I don't do walmart much for many reasons. One being they are to far out of my way.  I could see coupons working out if I lived in a bigger place where there is more compotition between stores. A few sites that I use pay you to print and redeem coupons, wow the money I could save, if the stores would accept printed coupons.  Very happy that it is working for you.

I shop at King Soopers, Safeway, Whole Foods or Sunflower Market for groceries. I don't use coupons for grocery shopping. I always look for a coupon when I shop online for other stuff though.

I usually shop at Wal-Mart but recently started at Winn-Dixie also since they have the fule perks. every penny we save on gas right now is a big help and the fuel perks really does help I must say.

Did the store manager tell you that him/herself?

I had a horrible experience at Walgreens yesterday with a super rude cashier who was trying to tell me that. I had the coupon policy in my binder and asked him to show me where on the policy it said that. He said he was told that by the store manager.

There was a time when I would have said, "Oh, OK", but with money so tight I was really happy I stood my ground. I asked him to call the manager over. He was really irritated and said there was a long line, but I told him I had waited just as long as every one else. When the manager came over I asked her to show me where in the coupon policy it said they wouldn't take printed coupons -- from WALGREENS.COM if you can imagine! 

She just rung it up giving me a dirty look. Sorry, but those coupons yesterday saved me 60%, I wasn't going to back down.
