We as adults can make it seem real for kids. But I feel it is over done. I think we need to focus on the true reason for the season and that is about the Lord how died.

I have to admit this is a pet peeve of mine.  Children need to be taught about the sacrifice Christ made us and how he loved us NOT wondering if the Easter bunny is going to bring them baskets full of toys and candy.  That should be extra.

To a young child, the Easter bunny is real although it really isn't.

We know the Easter bunny is not real.  I suggest that you don't tell your children about an Easter bunny and tell them the real meaning of the holiday.  Tell them how Christ died for them and for us all and how he arose on Easter Sunday and that is why we celebrate Easter, but no bunny or candy have nothing to do with Easter.
