When is too late to have a baby?!

When will you consider it's too late to have a baby?!

I think after 35 would be too late but only because of the risk of down syndrome in the child. I will most likely never have children

My mom was type 1 diabetes, and had her tubes tied after she had me. Three years later (at the age of 44) she found out she was pregnant (7 months pregnant, and she hadn't know). The baby turned out totally normal (and that was 21 years ago, much better medical care now). So I'd just talk to a doctor. I think people think it is more risky than it is. Good luck.

I think after 40 depending on if you have health risk maybe younger than that.

its to late for me when you dont have the enegry to keep up with them in a few years cause once they get to be 2 and up they take off and want to do everything, im in my 30's and can barley keep up

I think it depends on your health because I saw on the Oprah show last week that a woman in her 60s had a baby for her daughter who couldn't conceive.

I think as long as the baby won't harm the health of the mother and she can keep up with a toddler, I say it doesn't really matter.

this is such a personal decision --  i will be done after this baby is born this fall, but thats the decision my husband and i made
I think health risks as well as the energy thing are significant factors to consider

Adoption is always an option once you are old enough to cause risks to a baby during pregnancy. But I don't think you should adopt at too late of an age also. You'll want to be able to keep up with your kids, play with them, relate to them etc.
You want to change their diapers, not have them change yours.

I think after 35 years of age, but I know a lady that had a baby at 45 years old and she had a very healthy cute baby boy as a matter of fact he's my brother in law he's 5 years old and she's 50 now... So I think whatever God wanna bless you with then go for it because it's life Doctors say what they think would happen but King Jesus knows exactly what's gonna happen and I believe he'll bless you with a healthy child even after age 35

I have been trying for almost 3 years and I think I will stop around 32 or 33...I think before age 35 is the best time to stop.

Obviously its never too late to have a baby.  There were those women some years back who were in their 60's having babies.  I am not sure what the health of the babies are, but supposedly they gave birth.
