Hashbrowns for breakfast?
« on: April 30, 2011, 12:08:41 pm »
On the same breakfast theme, do you love hashbrowns with your breakfast?  I love hashbrowns, but they fill me up too fast when I have them with bacon or sausage and eggs and toast at a restaurant.  I like mine nice and crispy.

For sure. I think they are really good with gravy over them. I go to a breakfast place kinda like ihop but better food and they serve breakfast all day. I get the half platter which is half biscuits and gravy and half hashbrowns with gravy. It is really good. If you havnt ordered that before its a good combo go for it! lol

I love hashbrowns! I make them for dinner all the time. They are quick and easy. After a long day at work its easy to come home and make some chicken with hashbrowns yum

I prefer breakfast potatoes, they don't see as greasy as hashbrowns to me.

I rarely have hashbrowns for breakfast, but the times that I do, I have to bake them, cause they fall apart when I pan fry them.

Love 'em, I'm just too lazy to make them myself.

I like hash browns any time of the day. However, they give me a little heartburn. I'm trying to eat healthier and not too much fried food. I certainly like things crispy brown though....no matter what it is. I grew up on almost everything fried and breaking that habit is a bit hard. Grilling helps with the transition, but sometimes nothing will do but a good pile of fried potatoes or hash browns.
