How does direct deposit work with Greendot Prepaid

i already got my card and i click directdeposit
and it says enroll now i clicked that then it shows me
like a check that i can print and routing and account numbers..

what i did was add those routing and account numbers to direct deposit here
and i put my full name and put credit card info..now what do i do??

when i click cashout and when its july 20th-25

THE MONEY WILL INSTANTLLY GO TO THE CARD OR WHAT?

if i have a check next to direct depoist here on my account

that means when i cashout and i get money

the money goes to my GREENDOT CARD?

xjuniorx - if you submitted all the DD information correctly, then when payday rolls around (around the 20th of the following month from cashout) it will be direct deposited into your account.  No further action from you is required - as long as the information was submitted correctly.

BABY76er - you need to have the routing number and account number for your AccountNow account - then go to your account information on the Accounts page, check Direct Deposit and submit the information requested.

I have direct deposit.. And I am waiting for approved on my cashout. It says i should receive payment july 20 or before.. IF approved.. But when I did a support ticket.. They said I would receive funds on or before july 20.... *i asked about the whole pending thing.. etc..and how long it would take to be approved* they didnt exactly address the question.. or they did and i still dont understand... ANY HELP>>?

Your cashout remains "pending" until it is approved.  Once approved, payments are sent out.

i understand that.. but if it isnt approved.. and is still pendning by the july 20th then do I not get my money on the date they say it will come? ive seen other forms where it has taken a while to get approved..  Why does it take so long.. I dont think my other approval took this long!

Well if you are looking towards your July payment, then you cashed out before the last day of June, which is today. 

Cashouts most likely won't even be looked at until tomorrow, after all members that are cashing out do so.

It takes a while for the Staff to review the offers that were done and to make sure none were reversed.

I have much more respect for what they do now that I am doing it myself.

You will remain pending until right before the payments are sent out - which could be July 20 or thereabouts, but it could be sooner.  FC has been known to pay way before the 20th - its just never expected.

Another tip is to not cashout until the last day of the month by 11:59 pm PST - then the wait doesn't seem as long.
