I think it's good thing for the world just like Hitler being dead.  Granted, he wasn't as effective as Hitler but he certainly was as evil.

Yes, he is dead.  It was a judgement from God.  They are probably many knocking each other over to take his spot.  We have a welcome for that person, too!
Have a wonderful day!

I don't think it's a judgment from God, or something to be celebrated as it was.  Any loss of life is a somber thing.  However, I do think that for the welfare of the world, this is a good thing.

I think he is really dead or really hope that this is true. However he has many followers who are still out there.

I wish they would release the helmet cams that captured the takedown of Osama...not just to prove it..but would put a smile on my face and probably more people! lol

When it came out that he was dead, I cried for all the people that were killed 9-11 and others at other places.  I have cried a week and his death just reminded me of those then.  I just hope they can stop the terroist now so they can do no more harm to people.  Maybe our troops can come home now. I have one grandson that has been to Iraq 2 times.  And I don't want him to get in harm's way again.

I think justice was served.  Did we need a trial to prove his guilt?  He confessed enough on his own videos, and in fact took pleasure in 9/11.  Good riddance.

I was in the military for 27 years.  I spent 10 years working overseas at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany.  It is a US hospital--the largest overseas and the only tertiary military hospital in Europe.  During my years there (6 of them following 9/11), we treated 50,000 wounded warriors from Afghanistan and Iraq.  I've seen the affect that Bin Laden and other infamous terrorists have on our country.

well, the victims of the dread day, 9/11 can now rest in peace. Now, the taliban would want revenge.
