No, I have no problem with the dentist.  Of course, it's been a while since I've gone, but no issue with them other than the fact that they, like all medical professionals, try to get you to come more often than you need (more money in their pockets).

I'm not afraid of the actual dentist, just the expensive problems he or she will find in my mouth.

I just got three teeth filled and gonna go back in a week to get three more filled. I had not been to the dentist in a long time and had lots of cavities. They did a good job though and it didn't hurt at all. You have to take care of your teeth or you will lose them.

I am terified of Dentist, they have to give me gas to even clean my teeth. I had a bad experience when I was a teenager where a dentist drilled on my without any deadening. I have been scared of them ever since.

I am not afraid of the dentist I don't really like going to the dentist.. But when I was a child I was terrified of the dentist.. I remember one time I has an appointment and this was when they realized that I was allergic to morphine and laughing gas!! Anyways the dentist starting to give me the medication and instead of putting me to sleep and in a relax state of mind it did the opposite!! It instead mad me very angry and I ended up kicking the dentist in the knee cap! and started screaming!! I totally didn't remember anything of the sort but my dentist sure did! lol

I'm deathly afraid of dentists. As a child ( 4 or 5 ), I had a horrible expierence with a dentist. I was scared and started crying and he put his hand over my mouth and nose and yelled at me. I was terrified and I let my grandmother know what happened before we left. She refused to bring me back and told the other mothers who were waiting about what he did. All the other mothers quickly grabbed their children and walked out.

I've had a horrible fear ever since I was small. I force myself to go every six months, because I'm more afraid of what will happen if I don't take care of my teeth. Each time, it's an ordeal.

OMG.I have a phobia about going to the dentist. Everytime I work up the nerve to go I start dreaming that I go and everything in the dream go fine til I get home and began to loose teeth.Or either I dream that I go and they put me to sleep to extract a tooth and end up taking out like seven teeth by mistake. When I was little my mom took me to this dentist and he was big and mean. When he put the silver instrument in to click the teeth for cavities he was rough. I have went maybe two times since then and I had to force myself because my tooth was aching.Otherwise the thought of going gives me bad dreams.Probably gonna have bad dreams tonight about it!

I think it depends on your dentist. Mine is so gentle always asking me during a procedure if I'm ok and if I'm feeling any pain.
