Obama's approval hits two year high!
« on: May 11, 2011, 12:53:19 pm »
Even in the face of destruction and economic irresponsibility that the previous administration left behind!  From the previous dictator's lowest approval rating to 60% of those surveyed approving what Obama is doing as a president. I suppose that we will hear that these statistics are coming from a liberal source...the Associated Press? 53% believe that Obama should be re-elected in 2012!  No wonder the prior president would rather be in seclusion than attend a ceremony honoring those that died 911.

What?  I can't hear you over all the gun fire and bible toting in my neighborhood.  That is what us religious nuts do.  According to Mr. Popularity.  It only matters what his approval rating is on election day.

I don't think his approval rating could do anything but improve.  I didn't approve of him then nor will I the next election.  "One apple does not a pie make" ~ yea, he got a brownie point (or big shiny red apple) for taking out Osama, but then I think it would have been done regardless of who was in office.  Our expert intellegence network & heroic service personnel did all of the work.  I still speculate on the timing....
Have a wonderful day!

My guess is that they did not poll many folks in Texas over his approval since the only highs we can see are higher prices, higher unemployment, higher government debt and a high rate of not responding.

People have a short memory.  Bush's approval rating was sky high when Saddam Hussein was captured, but he lost the election the following year.

I don't know where these numbers are coming from but, even if it is true - we tend to forget a president always gets a bump when a Military action is successful. Remember Bush (the elder). He was at 89 Percent approval rating after the first gulf war (1990), where we pushed IRAQ troops out of Kuwait. We tend to forget these facts. Bush the elder lost to President Clinton the next go round (1992 election). President Clinton was an unknown at the time. He held office as governor of Arkansas and Attorney general of Arkansas when Arkansas was in last place of the 50 economically and Educational ranking. These are documented facts that the media does not tend to look at or advertise. With the gas prices the way they are, the economy the way it is, unemployment the way it is, I don't see how this president can get reelected. I have been around awhile and truthfully - I have not seen a less competent politician or president since Jimmy Carter, He was a unknown also. You see what unknown's do for you!!!

Wow, you beat me to the punch on that on sqa.  I couldn't have said it better.  Gee, I wonder how high my rating would go if I went out and murdered someone?  People can't hold a thought process longer than it takes to go to commercial, then come back with a different view point.  Have we forgotten about the birth certificate debacle?
