This old white man said that next week  Saturday May 21,2011 (the World is going to End) But they also say that the world is going be over and planet Earth is no longer going to be; it will be gone December 21, 2012. What ya'll think??? DO you think your life really has a date for when you are going to die. If you know you are going to die either one of these days, are you prepare to die.

I believe the world will experience a re-birth, a new beginning.  We're surrounded by cycles:  winter turns into spring, night turns into day, death gives us new life.  The earth is completing a cycle.  It's always darkest before the dawn.

I also believe that we are spiritual beings having a human (physical) experience so only the bodies die, but our spirits continue.

People really have a fetish for this type of thing! I'm getting sick and tired of piecing the world back together and wiping everyone's memories, so I guess I can't really complain about the fetish.

i believe there is going to come some point when something drastic happens to the world but i do not believe that someone can predict this and i also dont think that our worl is even close to 'coming to an end' within the next year.

No, I don't think the world will end in 2012. If the Mayans were so smart (it's their calendar people think tells about the end of the world), why didn't they know the Spanish were coming to decimate their culture? They treated them like the return of the gods! LOL
