Gas Prices
« on: May 27, 2011, 01:13:48 pm »
I don't know about where you live, but here in Jersey, the gas prices are ridiculous! They want at least $3.60 a gallon, and that's the cheapest it can be found right now. Fortunately, that's a bit lower than what it was two weeks ago, when it was at $3.85 a gallon. I mean really? It's just unbelievable. When I first started driving about 9 years ago, the gas was at $1.10 a gallon, and back then, I was in high school and thought that was pricey! The smart thing for these gas companies to do is to be competitive with each other through low prices, but no, that will never happen. It cost me today $63 to fill my tank! For a 1996 Toyota! I just hope somehow these prices will drop a little more. I know that they will never go back down to what they were when I was in high school, but even if they drop a dollar, that would still help. My poor wallet is feeling the pain!!

Gas prices were around $4 a gallon about a month ago here, but they have dropped to about $3.65-3.70, which still sucks. I remember when it was $25 to fill my car, now its $50

Gas prices in So Cal are finally getting under $4.00.  Costco and Sams club is around $3.86.  Contact me and I can hook you up with a website that tells you about cheapest gas prices in town.  I am looking forward in using the app when I go on vacation to find the cheapest gas around.

Gas prices where I live are going down a bit, also.  They will never go back to a reasonable price, in my opinion, as long as the "big guys" know they can get the "big money."

Gas prices have gone a little this past week, in my area which is Seattle area, we hit the $4.00 mark some area's were more. But now we're under $4.00, I've seen some at $3.89, so it gone down anywhere from .10 to .20

I do not believe gas prices are going to come down to a point that will be reasonable. Do you realize that for the price of four full tanks of gas you can own an electric bicycle. Add a solar panel charger for your battery and you ride for FREE. :D
