Summer Temps
« on: May 31, 2011, 11:36:15 am »
After a really long wet cold spring, it has jumped to summer here in Ohio.  Mid 90's today.  Have you all broken down and kicked on the AC yet?  I am about to go turn mine on because it is now 86 in the house and that is just too hot, don't you think?

It's in the 90s here in Michigan as well.  We've had the AC on now for a few days, and also had it on once last week.  The crazy thing is, last week the furnace actually kicked on in the morning a couple days because the overnight lows got down so much.  Within a span of less than a week, we've gone from needing the furnace in the morning, to having the AC running.  Gotta love the crazy weather here in the midwest.

It's been in the 90's in Kentucky as well-but I am lucky, I live on a bank in the woods near the river, if I don't open my shades, it is still no warmer than 70 in my house w/o ac  :)

We haven't even hit 75 yet....A couple of days ago the weatherman reported 85 in Fairbanks, Alaska and low 60s in Oregon.  I think our great strawberries are going to be a little late this year.   :dontknow: :dontknow:
