Mother Nature
« on: June 02, 2011, 03:56:59 am »
Growing up on the ocean I have always had a great respect for mother nature. Being a new englander I have have had little experience with tornatoes and have always been grateful  because they really scare me and they can come from no where and destroy towns in a instant.
Yesterday afternoon and evening 3 confirmed tornadoes hit western Mass. 4 people died and many areas destroyed Many didn't even know the tornadoes were coming.
As always my thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by natural disasters. it's a reminder to always respect mother nature and to live each day to the fullest.
Be grateful for what you have and you will receive more than you ever expected

If you believe it you can achieve it.

Small Consistent Steps Lead to Great Rewards

You are right. Earthquakes also happen without warning and in unexpected places. We all think of California when we mention earthquakes but the worst one in USA memory actually happened in the southeast USA and the effects were unbelievable. Look it up. :o

Penny,
That is good advice: "it's a reminder to always respect mother nature and to live each day to the fullest.   wave"

We should live every day to its fullest and also tell those we love that we love them.

We get our share of tornados in our area.  We just had a bad one a couple of weeks ago.

I do seriously believe Mother Nature-God is sending us a message.  There have been tornadoes in places where there has never been any.  There is a message and we had better heed that message.

Wow, in Philly, we had a tornado watch the whole day but thank goodness nothing happened. I remember it was extremely hot that day. I had no idea that any touched down in Massachusetts. My husband's family lives up there. I'm going to have to find out if anything happened close to where they live. Thanks for letting us know. I haven't watched the news in a while.

I love Mother Nature and everything she gives me and does for me. I do not like what she does sometimes.
