My best friend does!  The only person I know who doesn't use dressing...it freaks me out every time.

I stopped using salad dressing.. I don't miss the sweetness. I was using olive oil and vinegar; then stopped that. I read one of Dr Mercola's articles and use coconut oil from Garden of Life. Sometimes, you have to hunt around a bit before finding just the perfect thing. I put raisins and nuts (sunflower seeds/ chia seeds/ pecans) and/or dried fruit (whatever variety I have). I just bought organic dried raspberries, dried blueberries and dried pomegranates. I started taking my cucumbers off. They tasted funny and with all the "bad news" about them, well, I didn't really like them in the first place. I am watchful of the tomatoes too.

I used to eat salad plain, but now i use dressing.  Recently i tried mixing horseradish sauce with ketchup, and it was really good.

I have tried to eat my salad without dressing but I really like the taste of ranch dressing with a salad.  Instead of pouring it all over my salad (which I love to do) I put a small amount in bowl on the side!

Anyone eat it this way?? I use to for a while, then changed....
[I think salad without dressing can be something delicious with the right combination of vegetables. I'm just not that courageous. :binkybaby:/quote]

To me, a salad without dressing is like a person without clothes... it just ain't right (depending upon the person I guess!).  My daughter eats her salad without dressing, but I just look at it and think "wow, it's lettuce!?"... yummy (not)... Oh well, to each his own.

Not without completely.  The volume of salad dressing has gone down dramatically over the years though.  My lettuce used to float in the french when I was a teen  :D

Wow, what? seriously??  never.  a salad isn't worth eating without salad dressing.  and personally i don't think a salad is worth eating without croutons.

I like to add some vidalia chopped onions and just open a can of tuna in water and pour it on the salad. Add some rye crisp crackers and you have a complete awesome meal that is healthy.

I also like to add some flax seed, and maybe some sunflower seeds, lots of black pepper and sea salt, then take a big, juicy, ripe, tomato and cut it up,and put it on top of the salad. You really don't need any dressing.
