Best person to talk to about getting referrals is OldBuddy and you can find him running around on this site somewhere.

Do a search for oldbuddy.  He's got quite a few great ideas and probably has the most referrals.  He's a good one to get advice on referrals.

Facebook works, yes people don't believe till they see, so go with the theory of getting your first check and than refer others. For me, what does it hurt for a few minutes of my time. I enjoy it because it is my quiet time where I can block everything else out, I like to come on here either early in the morning or late at night when my house is quiet.
