I did. So when I see a mispelled word, it bothers me a lot. Too many people on here mispell words and I don't understand why. Did you not pay attention in English class? It's not that hard.

This is the topic that seems to be coming up in my house. I have 2 stepchildren along with my own 2 children, that live at home and 3 other stepchildren and my 1 older child not living at home. The ones that do live at home I always tell them to make sure they learn, because once they are out of school they wish they were still there. As for myself I only went to school because that is where I was supposed to be.

I was always able to do well without alot of effort, but I always did the work and learned.

I think some people use short hand when typing or just try to type real quick and don't go back to fix mistakes. Sometimes my mind goes blank and I just can't remember for the life of me how to spell a word. Happens to the best of us.

I feel the same way! Especially since so many browsers underline misspelled words. I got good grades in school and laziness is not an excuse for sounding like a moron.

English is my favorite subject but it actually doesn't bother me much to see many misspelled words. However, I do try to have quintessential grammar.
