new or classic

Which do you prefer to watch the tv programs of today or the tv programs of yesterday or a combination of both? I personally like a combination of both. The old comedies and crime dramas are very good because they set the standard for today's programming. And today's programs do a good job of highlighting issues that happen today.

Mostly classic.  A few new ones - NCIS, CSI, Psych.  Loved Monk but it has ended.
Have a wonderful day!

I guess I would have to say both.

When the classics are on, even if it is a repeat and I have seen it many times before already, I will stop and watch it again  :)

There are some new shows that I like.  I like NCIS, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, CSI: Las Vegas CSI: Miami, and CSI: New York, and Criminal Minds ..... just to name a few.

In regards to new shows, I am really not into Reality Shows.  I have tried to watch a few of them, and some of them are ok, but some of them are just a little too out there for me.  Some of the Housewives are just crazy, and I don't like the one's where all they do is fight all the time.

I like a combination of both, too.  I love classics such as I Love Lucy, Murder She Wrote, The Big Valley, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek (original), Dragnet, The Munsters, Golden Girls, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and others.  I also like and miss some more recent shows like Monk, Psych, Charmed, Law and Order (original), etc.

I enjoy shows of today's time that include Law and Order SVU, and Criminal Intent, Forensic Files, Desperate Housewives, The Middle, and The Closer, just to mention a few.

Your question brought back a lot of memories of some great classics.  I'm glad DVD's are made of them and we can re-connect with them just about anytime we want! :)
