Ideal place to live in the USA?

I was wondering where u guys think the ideal place to live is? A place that does not have hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes and is not too expensive ? Just wondering where u guys think?

Well, I'll be moving to Cambridge, MA tomorrow for Harvard! I love New England. In my perspective, it's definitely the best place to live - for me, anyway.

It's an amazing place! MBTA makes owning a car absolutely obsolete. It's healthier for the citizens to walk more anyway, plus it's cheaper to just buy a $20 Charlie ticket once a week. If one really needs to go far, far away, he can rent a car, which isn't even that expensive.

A place where there are no hurricanes or tornados or earthquakes?   Maybe Heaven is the only safe haven  Where I live, Duxbury, Massachusetts, hurricanes are the biggest threats  At least with hurricanes you get advance notice, not like the surprise visits of tornados.

The poster wants a place that's not expensive.  NYC is as about as expensive as you can get.

Every part of the country has its pros and cons...I would just avoid the extreme cold winters in the northern parts of the US. Plus, no offense to anyone on here, but in my dealings with people from the NE part of the country, it has always been with someone incredibly rude. I think it's the population density, cold, and traffic I guess, but a lot (not all) of people from that part of the country are pretty notorious for being rude.
