Depends on how much I won...I would give 10% to charity, I would pay off my house, buy a new car, invest in a retirement fund, invest in a college fund for my kids, then have fun with the rest.

It depends on how much the amount was. I would take the lump sum because most lottos won't let you leave the remaining payments to family/friends when you die. So with the amount I would get I would: pay our bills (including the student loan), get a new vehicle, buy some land back home, help the parents, give to one or two charities, and help the parents/grandparents out. After that I would invest the money in different areas. Pretty standard stuff. Typical answer. Would love to find out if I would actually do it.

If only!!!!! I have dreamed up so many different things. Of course I don't play the lottery so I can't win it lol. I do enter sweepstakes tho and I have dreamed of paying off my parents house so my dad can stop working and enjoy what little health he has left. i want to buy my family our own home of course and i want to take a trip to ireland because i dream of ireland and long to go there sooooo badly.

but these are dreams that will likely never happen.

I would pay off all me and my wife's debts first!   Then buy a house free and clear.   Then get some businesses going to employ my extended family!   Of course, I would run these businesses from Venice Italy.
