Can you wear white now after Labor Day?

Wow, really? People actually avoid wearing white after Labor Day? I never gave a crap. I also don't wear much white anyway, but that's not the point. I don't get why people say not to anyway. It's not like you will die or anything.

I always heard not to wear white before Easter and not to wear it after Labor Day.  Of course I never really paid much attention to either statement!   But then again I am not Mrs Fashion......lol

In the old days women or men never wore white after Labor Day. It was supposed that white was a color only fashionably worn in spring after Easter and in the summer. Now that was before the birth of winter whites. Now everybody wears white in the winter and all year round.

I have a neighbor who wears white every day. When she was working, she would travel a lot. It made packing easy. People still ask her why she wears white.

Of course you can wear white after labor day. People have been doing it for several years now Keep in mind that I never follow fashion rules anyway but I always try to at least look presentable -not torn jeans or holy shirts and my mid section is always covered. LOL

I wear white year round! I don't follow everyone else and not wear white past labor day... to me, that is just silly!!
