He is 17 months old...someone told me that when he wakes up from a nap with a dry diaper...but latley ive noticed that he pulls at the front of his diaper almost like he is tryin to say i gotta go pee or i just peed..and he gives a look with it too...idk...i need so real world help..not from a website of "perfect" parent researchers...lol

does he show interest in sitting on the toilet or potty chair?
never to early to start showing him how to do it and letting him try, but generally they will do it when they are ready and this varies by age
my son started potty training at 18 months but it wasn't until a week before his 3rd birthday that HE decided he only wanted "big boy underwear"
do you wear pull-ups?  some of them get cold when they pee which can help them start noticing when they go and realizing they don't want to be wet/cold, but again 17 months may not be ready for this.

if your son wakes up from naps with a dry diaper then that is a good opportunity to introduce him to the potty. I'm currently potty training my daughter and that was how i got her started using the potty.

yes his pull ups are a bit cold sometimes...and it seems that latley he is waking up with a less or dry diaper...im going to pull out the potty chair and see if he takes to it...but like one of you said its really on there time pretty much..everything else is..lol..also never too early too start either...allz i can do is try,try, and try some more...thanks for your response....i deeply appreciate it!
