Do you wear heels?

Wow I love heels but lately I have been doing so much running around they are starting to take a toll on my feet.My bestfriend walks around like her shoes are the most comfortable thing in the world. Im thinking to myself were they always this uncomfortable and I just ignored the pain for fashion puposes. I know one thing though wedged heels gives alot more support and Im seriously thinking of switching completely wedged heels.

I used to wear heels all the time in my younger days.  I liked wearing them then, but now I don't think I could even stand up in them.

You know they can be very lovely to look at and I can see why some women collect them, but they're not practical.  Even Oprah would sometimes mention that the shoes she was wearing on the show were for sitting not walking.  I've got foot problems so cute, fashionable shoes are getting less and less realistic for me.  If I found some that fit I'd wear them for seated events, but...  These days it's flat, practical, cushy shoes all the way.  Sigh.

Yes I wear heels, but not the real real high heel shoes which hurts your feet. I also prefer wedges too, I agree that they are definitely comfortable to wear than any kind of heel.

I used to wear heels but now I cannot wear them. They are just too uncomfortable with all my back problems. I am older now too so I don't feel right about wearing them.

I hate high heels.
I only wear heels to church, a reunion, or something.

I have a lot of heels. I only like them around 3 or 3 1/2" high. Don't like any lower or higher than that. No stilettos as they can hurt your feet. Since I'm dressed in a suit more than anything else, a nice pair of heels completes my outfit. They are feminine and if you get a good designer brand that are made well, they will not hurt your feet. Get leather if you can because it breaths. Also make sure you are wearing the right size. I always go a half size up what I usually wear and have no trouble. Wearing heels teaches your body good balance and coordination when you walk. I love em! If I had the money, heels and handbags are my weakness.

I wore them in my twenties, but with knee problems, I don't anymore. They're also bad for your back and can shorten your calf muscle.
Luckily I'm 5'9" so no need to boost myself up!
