Why is it that when people get on the bus they talk about there business ?

I was on the bus and this lady just got on the bus talking to someone aloud about her personal business out loud I think that is embarassing.

That doesn't just happen "on the bus"...there's too many people everywhere openly discussing their private, personal business to anyone that will listen.  I seem to be a "magnet" for those types, they get a "hold" of me and they just go on & on about things that I really do not want to know because...(it's none of my business, it makes me uncomfortable, and I don't know them) and there's no excuse that seems to work to get away from them.  I think they must be either lonely or have noone at all to listen to them.  It's sad.

I haven’t taken public transportation for almost 15 years. You will see all kinds of people. Some just forget they are still in the public when they openly expose their personal life like an open book. Just pretend you didn’t hear anything.

A lot of people are lonely and probably just want anyone to talk to. Lend an ear as it costs you nothing. The bus ride is short, and you never know....you could make their day so much better by just smiling and listening.

I don't see any difference in someone talking out loud about their business on the bus, or someone answering their cell phone ANYWHERE and talking about their business.
