how long can deli meat last out of fridge?

I am just wondering how long sandwich meat (such as turkey meat) can last without being refrigerated ?

It's not a good idea to leave it out long.
Most deli meats once sliced are only good for about 3 days before starts breaking down from all the surface area exposed to air.
You should only have it out of the frig for making your sandwich and return asap.
It just doesn't keep well.

I believe in my nutrition class it was two hours MAX for any perishable food. Bacteria can double every hour, so its good to get it back in the fridge as soon as possible to halt their growth.

It will last longer in the fridge if you take the paper out of the bag with it. roast Beef has a real short life after it cut.

I don't think it can last that long, you should put it right away after you finish with it; so it can stay fresh.
