Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Wisdom cannot discerned by fools who lack the context to understand and must resort to bible-thumping in lieu of being wise.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

What the ... ?  No such claim has ever been made by me, at any time.  Mainly because that would be a false claim.  Please produce the exact quote and message ID# which you are attributing to me in error.  It'd be a shame to prove you to be a liar, (something which I'd not considered and likely this is just a simple error of attribution to someone else).

Jeremiah 29:11

So you claim however, no evidence to presented to support such a claim, (which makes it an empty one, based on 'faith' and faith is a belief in that for which there is no evidence).  If you choose to 'bible-thump', it's within the purview of anyone who wants to offer an opposing viewpoint to do so in the "off topic" or "D+D" forums.  Note that this particular opoosing viewpoint does not consist of merely a superfluous "opinion" but, contains the foundational reasoning which challenges your claim.  Again, you are under no particular obligation to reply and back up your empty claims just as others are free to point out that such claims are then unsupported hearsay.

Sometimes, other times you can pretend no one noticed that your response didn't reply to the points raised.

John 14:1-7

1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Blind faith in that which has no substantial basis is obviously the way to go, (unless you have a functioning ability to reason).

I am reading the book of Isaiah as well.  I just got finished with Jonathan Cahn's Book "The Harbinger".  I really recommend it.  It compares the USA with Israel after the Assyrians attacked.
