I don't have a daily Bible verse, but I always say that "God is good, and all the time God is good" .

Except for mentions of such a hypothetical entity killing hundreds of thousands, (or, for the followers of such hypothetical entities to use such religious beliefs as an excuse to slaughter millions)?

***Slow to speak - a Christian perspective
An exhortation for Christians to avoid anger. Sometimes the easiest way to avoid angry or foolish speech is to simply avoid speaking, and to focus instead on listening and understanding others.    http://www.biblegateway.com/keyword/?search=Swift%20to%20hear&version1=9&searchtype=all

Proverbs 6:18
"An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,..."
Proverbs 6:17-19 (in Context)

James 1:19
"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, ***slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God."
James 1:18-20 (in Context)

Keep posting your Bible verses.  It's neat and interesting to read all of the verses that are posted/shared in here.  :)

Does that include a xtian exhortation to be 'slow to post' "angry or foolish speech" or avoid it altogether?  If so, a few xtians on these forums have not complied with such a xtian perspective, (actually not an exclusively xtian one; just another plagiarism from xtianity).  If not, such 'not-ignoring ignoring' is both a self-defeating concept and an irrational one.

Proverbs 6:18
James 1:19
James 1:18-20

'Thump, thump, thump' is refuted by counter-quotes:
"A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything."
-- Friedrich Nietzsche

"Either God wants to abolish evil and cannot, or he can but does not want to.
If he wants to but cannot he is impotent. If he can but does not want to, he
is wicked. If he neither can nor wants to, then he is both powerless and
wicked.
-- Epicurus, Greek philosopher, circa 300 B.C.

"With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and
evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that
takes religion."
-- Steven Weinberg, quoted in The New York Times, April 20, 1999

Keep posting your Bible verses.

While religious adherents are 'free' to repost the entire propagandistic 'document' bit by bit, so too are those opposed to proselytizing specious religious beliefs as 'free' to do so.

Technically, the FC forums aren't "social media" nor a springboard for religious proselytizing however, since both can and do occur to some extent, so too can some dissenting viewpoints.  Fortunately, FC is fairly even-handed concerning such posted 'content' and while the forums are not some exclusive xtian domains/compounds/reservations, posting religious propaganda does not violate the ToS.  Neither does posting dissenting points of view, (much to the apparent chagrin of some of the more strident religious adherents extant).  Such 'free speech' can be such a bummer, huh?
