I'm 215 right now and am 5'11 and am not exactly fat, but I do want to be in better shape.  I'm trying to get down to 200 or fewer pounds within the next couple of months.  Is anyone else trying to lose weight and are you succeeding?

Everyone says it, but it's true.  Diet and exercise are the only way to lose weight and keep it off.  You have to change your lifestyle, not your "shake" intake or your Ab Roller!!!!

Diet and exercise are good, but you must have glands that work.

If your thyroid is low, you won't lose weight.

If your adrenals are low, you still may not lose the weight.

If you're not producing insulin, you won't lose weight either.

All the glands must work, and be producing optimal hormones.

I'm 6'5", I gave up soda and dropped 50 lbs.
Now only if I can move to some place more hospitable, I can be more active and shed some more.
My Doctors have always said, while you shouldn't eat all meat or fats, you don't have to be a health nut to be healthy--its all moderation.
