Who's ready for school to start?
« on: August 10, 2011, 07:31:16 am »
With school starting just around the corner, are you ready for your kid's to go back, have everything they need? I don't have kid's anymore, their all grown up, but I remember having to go out and getting those pencil's, paper, notebook's, and as they got older it seemed like they neede more stuff. I would stock up on the paper, etc. and by the end of the year I would have enough to carry over into the next year.

I'm ready for school to start, it's so boring without something to do.

I don't have any children so school starting doesn't have much to do with me. I'm happy for the bored kids that are ready to go back and likewise the parents that are at their wits end. LOL  ;)

I don't have to worry about school anymore since I graduated back in 2006. I'm glad those days are over with because I felt like I was a outcast. I guess, we are suppose to have our 1st class reunion in 2016. I don't plan to go to any future class reunions.

I don't have to worry about school starting anymore either.
And reunions aren't worth the time or effort ... most people haven't changed ...
I the only thing about school starting is now I have to leave a little bit earlier for work with all the buses on the road.
Do love that all the office supplies are on sale though ... that's what I look forward to.

School started last week for my kids and last minute school shopping was necessary because my kids are in honors classes. Private school, in the long run, would have been only $1,000.00 more per year but my daughter opted out of an all girls private school for the social aspect allowed at public coed schools.  It actually ends up being more expensive due to having to buy her new scool clothes instead of four uniforms.  Because the level of education was so much better at the private school we told her that she had to maintain a 4.33 grade point average at the public school...should make the scholarship thing a little easier to achieve!
