Swimming by a long shot! In this heat jumping into a nice cold pool would be amazing.

this is a good one. cause i like both but certain things about it I dont like. As in I cant swim so i guess just going into the water up to my chest is ok but only in a pool not the ocean.. And hiking i love the outdoors but im not into bugs...lol   So i like both but i dissect them too...

Either. I love both. But it depends on the location.
Would never hike in the desert.
And would never swim in anything but a clean source.
They both have their merits, good nature veiws and such.

Neither, both take too much energy and I'd rather read a book, make a quilt or work on my daughter's wedding...

Hiking, you can hike all the time and only swim sometimes.

I will have to defer to floating. Never did learn to swim, up there in them mountains, and my bones and joints are too bad for hiking.

I guess this one really depends on circumstance.. Personally I'd like to swim in spring/summer and hike in fall/winter. (Not to mention there's less bugs in fall/winter)

Definately swimming. I am so heat intolerant, i can barely walk to the car without dying in this heat! Swimming keeps me cool.

I love to hike to a lookout, like some on Mt. Rainier, just to see the amazing view. :)
