Did you know we actually have oil but they won't touch it. They have known this since the bush administration, but won't touch it, because of the environmentalist.

No I didn't know that, and I still don't know it.  There are strategic oil reserves, many countries have them, but the United States, in no way, has more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia and most certainly not more than the entire middle east.  And don't forget about Venezuela which is now considered to have even more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia.  I suggest you check your facts a little more carefully before posting such sensationalist nonsense.

Actually you both are technically wrong. Saudi is still #1 Venezuela is #7 and USA is #14 and this is the most updated AND this is only "PROVEN" oil reserves.

It is "oil shale" which the USA has more reserves of then anywhere else. And I also believe it is hazardous to wildlife and the environment. I know it has alot of groups against it.

We have oil in the United States that they will not let use drill for, enough that we would not have to buy from other countries.

According to a news report a couple of weeks ago there is a new discovery in southern Canada that alone is third behind Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. They want to build a pipeline to the USA refineries but the environmentalist are blocking it so they are building a pipeline to the Pacific coast to put it in oil tankers because China said they will buy all they can ship. Meanwhile our economy goes down down down partly because of our fuel prices.

Maybe when the price of gas gets up to $10 a gallon there will be more outcry to use what we have here.  I cannot figure out why we want to allow countries that hate us control our economy by being able manipulate oil prices.
