Do you like the person that you turned out to be? Why/why not?

I have to admit that I'm happier now as an adult than when I was growing up. Growing up as a kid was hell & I wouldn't repeat that horror even if you paid me! I do like the me that I had become to be & of course there's always room for improvement. Over all I think I turned out to be a egg.

Well im happy to be me. I have been changing alot, for the better also. Im getting out of the house more, im a more hard working person. and im proud of my self!

I agree with the OP     but i am a loving and caring person as that is not what i got growing up...  Life is good now and i wouldnt change a thing

I mostly like the person I've turned out to be. Everyone can improve though, so I try to do my best to do so. But yes, in general, I do like who I am.

I heard someone say: "I had a bad childhood, but childhood is over". Those words are so true and if we can just leave the past behind and look toward the future with love and optimism, we have it made. Forgive those that have hurt us in our past and that in turn releases ourselves.

Meeting God in my early twenties was the turning point for me. I was on a one way path to destruction and didn't care. If it wasn't for God, I would be dead today. He is still working on/with me and making me what I should be.

There is no money that can buy the peace and contentment I have in my life today because of Jesus. I'm blessed beyond measure and lay my head down each night safe in the knowledge that He loves me and is my best friend. Most certainly turned out to be a better person than when I started out......and the best is yet to come!!

I am not yet totally happy with who I am now, but I am working on getting there. There are still some things I need to fix and some other things I need to get rid of. It's a hard task, really, but I think I can do it.

That's a great attitude to have esp. when the task is long & hard. Make sure that you pat yourself on the back every time you accomplish a task. With your positive out look you will get to your target goal soon enough. You just need to take it one step at a time! Good Luck!!!!
