I thank God for waking me up with a reasonably portion of health and strength and then my husband may take me out to dinner.  My birthday is a week from Christmas so we try not to celebrate too much.

My birthday is New Year's Eve and family and friends always gather together for a meal and cake and usually card games.

Dinner at a Mexican restaurant, cake, ice cream, and gifts makes my birthday happy.

I have recently entered into my fifities, rcvd my AARP card, so for Last few birthdays I have thrown myself a party a home, inviting a few of my close friends and family for good food, drinks and dancing.

I could care less about my birthday but my wife always makes a big deal about it with cooking and presents.

I buy myself a birthday cake and ice cream, I go buy food from a favorite restaurant and usually buy or rent a movie to watch.  If I am especially "rich" at the time I might buy myself something.  I used to go out with my mother for my birthday but she passed away in May and my birthday was in August.  I still try to make it a special day for myself. My philosophy is that any day you have a right to eat cake, may get presents and are still alive is a day to be celebrated.

We order out from one of my favorite restaurants and eat at my house.  I like watching a fun movie like "The Blues Brothers" - something that you don't have to think about.

I feel so old. For my last several birthdayus, I just work right through it, normal as rain.
Then I go home, answer some emails.
Then I go to bed.
I have no life.

I wish I was richer....although its highly probable that I would do the same thing.

I think after you get to a certain age you don't want to remember your birthday!! So I normally try to forget...

I usually do not celebrate my own birthday the traditional way with cakes and parties. I usually like to buy something I like for myself as a treat. I don’t need birthday parties.

I don't do much to celebrate my birthday since its impossible to get my friends to celebrate with me. It was easy to get my friends together to celebrate my birthday when I was younger. Now, I just celebrate with my mom and one of my older brothers.

My fiance and I usually go to Red Lobster for my birthday, because they typically have the shrimp-festival thing during that time of year.

Well an ice cream cake is essential!!! My brother and his girlfriend will come over to join my parents and my boyfriend and they'll sing to me, then we will shoot the breeze and enjoy our delicous cake!

Well let's see. In 3 yrs it will be my 50th birthday. So I will be looking for a hall soon. Planning a BIG blowout!!!! Dying my hair blond (I'm a brunette), am having my attire custom made for me. This will be my "AGE IS JUST A NUMBER!" party! Fortunate enough to still have people think I am in my low to mid 30's!!!! YEAHHHH BABY!!!!! Ice Cream and cake of course, open bar. Just like a wedding reception...only a celebration of life. My hubby thinks I'm nuts to celebrate 50. Looks at 50 as getting old. Like I told him, "that's if you let it." I have no intention of slowing down. I am fortunate and plan on taking full advantage of that fortune. ;)
