I'm 33 years old, 5 feet tall. I maintain at 112 pounds. I have an athletic build, I'm a marathon runner. I eat a lot, but the amount I run (40-50 miles a week) negates a lot of that. I don't go "crazy" with food any more like I used to.

WOW squirralgirl you put us all to shame. I can stand to lose a good 50 lbs, so far I lost 6 and want to keep going down but now with winter coming I really need to focus more!!....hey we can do this!

[I am not telling a bunch of people my weight, ha ha, my mom already told everyone I was on a diet on facebook, got to love having your mom on facebook. but yeah we are getting ready to go on vacation next week and I been trying to lose some, not too successful though, my husband keeps buying me junk food, I think he doesn't want me to lose weight, probably jealous I will go get someone else, like my mother did when her husband cheated on her.

Before I read all of what you wrote I was thinking the same thing....I personally want to get back to my orignal weight which is 7 bls 9 oz, ya think I could do it hahahaha

When I was real serious into body building/strength training I developed this problem where I didn't feel right if I couldn't induce the delayed onset muscle syndrome like you describe.  It is amazing how addictive that pain can become or possibly how addictive the use of that as a scale for training perhaps is a better choice of words.  Even though I knew that DOMS wasn't necessary for progression I still craved it and couldn't feel quite satisfied without it.  I am not that way anymore and have reduced my training quite a bit as I knew I was becoming obsessed and too much of a fan of mirrors.

Never heard of someone who was actually into body building, at least big time. But I suppose everyone has their days. What made you stop since then?

I'm 5'1 and 110 pounds. I eat smaller portions of meals 5 times a day. I jog in the morning and bike after school. I don't really eat meat because I don't really like the taste, but I do eat fish a lot.

Well, I don't know exactly how to address this topic. I had a baby 5 weeks ago, so of course I want to lose weight. I didn't exercise as much as I wanted to while pregnant, but I wasn't exactly sedentary either because I have 5 other kids with whom I must keep up. I think I was 190 the week before he was born, and about 170 a week or so after he was born. I think I'm around 165 now. Still, I should be around 135ish. So, I have started walking as often as I can. I eat snacks a few times a day and keep my meals small. I've heard that I should, as a nursing mom, eat about 300 calories more than I did before I was pregnant. It's hard to put 300 calories into perspective, so I do read the labels and try to stay at or under that 300 extra per day. Speaking of him... he's crying so I'll stop here.

I am six foot tall and two hundred and fifteen pounds. One year and eleven days ago I was one hundred and eighty four pounds.  I broke my foot last year and have been suffering the consequences ever since.  I have had to get larger pants and get my current waist lines expanded.  I started doing a minimum of thirty minutes of cardio ten days ago and have managed to get down to two hundred and ten pounds.  I am going to keep that up as well as watching what I eat until I get down to one hundred and ninety pounds.  Let me know if you want daily encouragement to do the same?

Im 5'4 and 150lbs my goal is to lose 30lbs by christmas. Ive never had kids but I have what ya call child bearing hips with a ghetto booty lol. I would love to get toned and tightened by then.

Current weight: 210lbs. When I was 13, I was up around the 270-280 range and starting running, dieting, playing sports and dropped down to about 180 over 5 years. The past two years I've been weightlifting and eating a lot of lean protein and put on 30lbs of muscle.

Well as you may be able to see in my photo I will not list my weight but I am incredibly overweight! I am currently trying to go to appointments and get my lab work started to see whether or not I have Thyroid Disease, but hopefully all goes well with me! I do not eat alot and I drink lots of water and I exercise occasionally. However, I do not understand why I am at a constant weight gain! With the help of doctors, friends, and faith in god, I will succeed one day.When that day comes, I'll post my weight and before and after pictures for everyone here on FC to view! I will not give up!!!! :thumbsup:
