10 wives

this post was brought to you because i had a debate with a male friend of mines that thinks it is ok for a man to have as many wives as they want as long as he can afford to take care of them all and as long as the wives agree ...that's not all... he also thinks that it is not a sin according to the bible. He thinks this is what it means to  "be fruitful and multiply" in other words he thinks if you're having many wives for the purpose of bringing forth children, it is not sinful. I absolutely think he is out of his mind. i also think it is against GOD's law. What do you think?

Sounds like Old Testament stuff, which was ok back then. The New Testament is what most Christians abide by today. Personally as a man, I think one wife is enough trouble...lol

A man with 10 wives must want to be the lord and master of his home.  Not many women would put up with that.

I think it is wrong. Not by God's definition but what women in their right mind wants to share a man with 9 other women.

marriage is a special bond between two people who love each other very much, not ten people who think they know what true love really is....
