The only way you should have a say in how marriage is conducted is if its your own marriage.
Other than that, people should just keep their bigoted thoughts to themselves.

i am happily married.  i hated the idea of dating again,  if i ever became single again for any reason, i don't think i would ever date again.  i hate the idea of someone new having to learn me all over again.  i like the feeling of contentment that i have being married.  i like the commitment and i like having someone here with me everyday that i love and that is my best friend.

I couldn't agree more! I don't know what I would do without my darling husband! No one could ever take his place !

I was married for 8 years. I got married at 25. I thought I knew what I was doing. At the end, I was holding on by a string. I love the idea of marriage. It is a beautiful thing when you find the right person. I will get married again. But this time I will take my time and get to know the person.

What is everyones thoughts and views on marriage?

I have been married for two years now and i love it i was married once befor but it was a joke we were married for less then a month and he was already sleeping around but the man i am with now has been my best friend for years he was the best man at my first wedding he should for been the one i married the first time but i was young and stupid it took me ten years to realize the my best friend was my soule mate not his friend funny how things work out.
